ive noticed my nails have stopped growing? Anyone else had this and know the cause?
Untreated hypothyroidism with slow metabolism causes nails to grow slowly, and might be the cause. As a first step you could check your body temperature first thing in the morning and your pulse. A lowered temperature, and slower pulse than before, could be signs of hypothyroidism.

This site used to have all the information you´d need about hypothyroidism
