Sense about Science (UK) correspondence

Forum member @JohntheJack had been corresponding with Sense about Science regarding their silence on PACE trial over the last year.

PACE was supported by many associated establishment organisations which made it more difficult to challenge if not impossible.

These organisations and individuals need to for their own long term survival and credibility disassociate and disown the Wessely school.

However I am sure many of these organisations will continue to ignore and stonewall until they are forced to do the right thing and 'stand up for science'.

Whether it achieves anything or not - it is very important to have a complete record of this sordid issue and who aided and abetted the fraudulent PACE trial and did what and when and why.

Thanks @JohntheJack for doing that and your perseverance and tenacity with following up and helping with these important PACE issues. I salute you!!

They did not say whether they accepted the analysis and criticism on the stats.org website as valid.

There then began an exchange in which Wilson singularly failed to answer simple questions and continued to use language like a politician trying to avoid an issue.

This and similar correspondence is very important.

I would love to see a campaign to rescind SWs Maddox prize in light of recent events.

I am not sure what became of David Tullers nomination this year but maybe we could nominate the ME patient community next year for standing up for science in the face of adversity.

Thanks, Yogi. We at least now have on record that the organization Wessely founded considers the trial he helped design to be flawed.
