As scary as it was, Dr. Bateman's experience with her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment was effective because of Precision Medicine. Precision Medicine is an approach that takes into account individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person. This is what the Bateman Horne Center wants for ME/CFS and FM patients. How do we get there? With markers that determine disease type and measures that detect responses to treatment. I will provide background on what markers & measures are and how BHC is working toward Precision Medicine for ME/CFS and FM.

Just click the LIVESTREAM link at the time of the meeting to view it online, live.

What is the Bateman Horne Center doing different for ME/CFS?

What testing are they doing different?

What treatment are they using thats different?

Has anyone been to visit them?

Do they have SPECT or PET Scans?

Are they more geared at FM?

I like the idea of precision medicine...

I feel as though a large center of excellence is needed to do very thorough testing....because of the great deal of differentiation...

I think they are on the right track in their thought processes.
