I got this message on Saturday.
As the heading says, anyone know any iGive stores in Europe/where delivery to Europe is not too dear. I don't want to have to look through a big list. I could probably buy something for somebody just to get the $5.

Maybe there are people who have already bought something for this purpose?

Maximize your help for Whittemore Peterson Institute

Hi Tom,

It's been ten days since you joined iGive to help your favorite cause, Whittemore Peterson Institute. Once again, welcome!

To help you make the most of iGive, and to make sure you get that
$5 bonus donation*, we've put together this list of 5 things every new member should know. Please use it to maximize your cause's next donation!

~~~ 5 THINGS EVERY NEW iGIVER SHOULD KNOW ~~~
1. THE iGIVE TOOLBAR MAKES IT EASIER TO GIVE + RAISE A PENNY PER SEARCH http://iSearch.iGive.com/Toolbar.cfm
Make sure you never miss out on a donation opportunity when you shop online OR search the web! Use the iSearchiGive search box to raise a penny (or more) when you search the web. Plus, our Toolbar will automatically track donations for your cause if you shop at any of the 700+ stores in our network!
2. YOUR $5 BONUS DONATION AWAITS
Make your first purchase (through iGive!) within 45 days of joining, and we'll add a $5 bonus* on top of the usual donation to Whittemore Peterson Institute!
Find stores, donation rates, and coupons at: http://www.iGive.com/shop/merchants.cfm
3. SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT $5 BONUS DONATIONS AT iGIVE Earn hundreds more for your cause by inviting your friends to join iGive.
Just send them your personal referral link:
http://www.iGive.com/welcome/warmwelcome.cfm?c=53664&m=707387
Clever iGive shoppers include their referral links in their e-mail signature lines, blogs, personal web pages, Facebook, MySpace, & more.
Put the power of your social network to work for your cause:
>> Add the iGive application on Facebook & compete with friends for
a spot on in Hall of Fame! http://apps.new.facebook.com/igivefb
>> Become a fan of iGive.com on Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/igive
>> Become a friend of iSearchiGive on MySpace:
http://www.myspace.com/isearchigive
4. GET CREDIT (DONATIONS) WHEN YOU SHOP - AUTOMATICALLY!
Remember to start your shopping at iGive.com, or use the iGive Toolbar, and a portion of each purchase will be donated to your cause! It takes 10 days (on average, after shipping) for your purchases and donations to be credited.
Occasionally, it can take up to 30 days. Track your earnings through searching
(iSearchiGive) and shopping at: http://iSearch.iGive.com/totalraised.cfm
5. SOMETHING MISSING?
If you made a purchase that hasn't shown up, and it's been more than 30 days since it shipped (for travel, more than 30 days after travel commenced) please tell us: http://www.iGive.com/html/missingtrans.cfm
Thanks for letting us help you raise money for a good cause.
Yours,
Robert N. Grosshandler
P.S. To change your iGive account settings or e-mail subscriptions, just visit: http://www.iGive.com/html/mysettings.cfm
* Please note that Amazon.com purchases do NOT count towards the first-time buyer bonus requirement (Why? Because Amazon orders are tracked according to the cause that benefits from the purchase, rather than the iGive member who made the purchase. In other words, we have no way of knowing that YOU shopped at Amazon, but we will know that your cause benefited from an Amazon transaction.)
maybe ebay, look for it at igive stores.
Thanks. Actually, I wanted to get a couple of statistics books. Abebooks.co.uk is in the iGive list. Then another book was only available as a paperback (cheaper) from the US so ordered it through Booksamillion.com. So hopefully at least one will show up with igive.com and WPI gets the $5.
