We're proud to announce that our new partnership with Tugg is now LIVE! Tugg is a "theatrical-on-demand" platform that gives documentary fanbases like ours access to 90% of the movie theaters in the United States. Tugg helps you book a movie theater near your home, advertise, sell tickets, and stage a high-caliber screening to build education, advocacy, support, and awareness in your area.

You simply won't believe how easy it is. And it is unbelievably cool.

And for those outside the US or who would like to do Community Screenings of Forgotten Plague, Tugg enables screenings of the film at churches, hospitals, universities, schools, or any other community center. It's not just movie theaters. It's anywhere.

So check out our video below. And roll with us as we present a series of posts this week to help you learn about Tugg and get pumped about staging your screening to show this amazing film to your awesome friends, family, colleagues, and community at large.

Get ready to turbo-charge ME/CFS advocacy across the world with us. Things are about to switch into a very high gear!

Don't worry, DVD pre-sale announcement coming soon. We've got everybody covered!

And ultimately the key is all about building healthy allies who can organize/execute events...it's about expanding our coalition so that greater things become possible, far beyond what any single person, healthy or otherwise, could accomplish. Don't be afraid to ask friends and family to step up and stage screenings on your behalf and in your honor!

I would very seriously encourage everybody who can to arrange a local screening - or even a not-local screening - and get help with boots on the ground to make it double up as a fundraiser.

150 people have already signed up to do that, all over the world - thousands of us need to do this. Let's get that consciousness raised!

No, I'm pretty sure it hasn't - I've been checking that Forgotten Plague FB page every day for ages!

Why do you say it's been out for a month?

Because the YouTube is dated 7/20/15.
GG

I wonder if they had it hidden or something - that is, preloaded but not pulished on that date. The responses to it were only put up today.

There's been lots of anticipation on their FB page - I'm sure they'd have said earlier if it had been available. :)

Here is our official Tugg screening page! We are opening the floodgates for worldwide theatrical and community screenings of this film. And we're doing it at an unprecedented time in the history of ME/CFS advocacy. This is our historic moment for our voices to be heard.

So join us. Let's change the world. Together.

Simply click "At a Theater" or "At a Community Venue." You won't believe how easy it is. With only a couple clicks you'll see what theater is available in your community as part of the Tugg network. And we're betting the theater around the corner from your house is on the list.

So get ready to rally your community around the cause, and the let's build a groundwell of support for social change!

The issue I have is I would love to arrange a screening but I would like to see it first. Know that all that is in there is the message of ME I agree with.

That's fair enough - I'm doing the same - waiting for my copy!

I made a Kickstarter donation so I'm hoping to get my code soon for the e-version.

Has anybody got their code yet?

@Sasha so how do I get a copy again for prescreening??

I'm afraid I don't know any more than you do! I donated to the Kickstarter thing and so am expecting to be sent something. I don't know how anybody else gets the movie. I think Ryan said that they're producing DVDs now - don't know about getting codes for online viewing.

Actually maybe the movie isn't available yet online or via DVD but the facility for arranging screenings is, ahead of time.

I haven't seen an actual release date.

August 24.

**Ryan Prior says:**
--------------------

Dear Kickstarter Backers,

On behalf of our entire production team, I'd like to thank you
from the bottom of my heart for helping kickstart this filmmaking
journey for us all the way back in June 2013. Making Forgotten Plague
has been a life-changing journey and the absolute thrill of a
lifetime. Filming took place in 9 U.S. states and included scientists
from Columbia, Stanford, and Harvard along with about 40 other
journalists, scientists, doctors, and advocates and about 60 patients.
Our trips so far to promote the film have taken us from the National Press Club to Stanford Medical School to Hollywood's Chinese
Theater. Our co-director/cinematographer Nicole Castillo won an Emmy
Award for her work on the film which was showcased in a journalistic series she produced for Univision entitled "AIDS Without
HIV" Our co-director/producer, Ryan Prior, was awarded
ProHealth's ME/CFS Advocate of the Year and Stanford Medicine's ePatient Scholar award.

Just as we said, for those of you who gave $25 or more, we will give you a free download of the film. The day has come and we're
thrilled to be able to release it to you.

Here it is:

password: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Please take some time to watch the film and let us know what you think. We'd also love for you to stage a screening of the film in
your hometown. If you'd like to do that, you can sign up to do so at our website www.forgottenplague.com
(http://www.forgottenplague.com).

We've partnered with a company called Tugg which will make the
process to schedule your screening extremely easy.

ME/CFS advocacy has taken off since the launch of our project. We've been thrilled to complete the inaugural edition of our Blue
Ribbon Fellowship program, which gave 3 U.S. medical students the opportunity to study with top specialists. We're also excited to
partner with the visionary new organization #ME Action Network which will help promote Forgotten Plague worldwide and use the film's
power to exponentially increase advocacy, awareness, and education about this terrible disease. We're happy to see new avenues of
research and advocacy continually opening up and we can't wait to
see what role Forgotten Plague will have in continuing to bolster this
social justice cause.

So take a moment to celebrate with us, watch the film, and begin the
next chapter of the Blue Ribbon/Forgotten Plague story!

With much love,
The Entire Forgotten Plague Team

Note: People shouldn't bother asking me for the password as I'm not going to give it (that's not directed at you, Sasha).

This from the FP team on how you can see the film before you arrange a screening to make sure you're happy with it:

e-mail forgottenplague@gmail.com and ask for a link to watch before you screen the film for a large audience. All of the medical information presented comes from top world experts from places like Harvard, Stanford, and Columbia. And other analysis in the film is of CDC policies as reported by respected national publications like the Washington Post. So you'll have nothing to fear about the standards of research presented in the film. However, we can obviously understand that the best organizers and promoters of the film will be people who can give a full-throated enthusiastic endorsement of its importance. So you're more than welcome to view it before showing it to your community :)

I am looking forward to watch this film! Does anyone know, when it's going to be available for the common folks, who don't organise a screening?
Will it be offered for purchase and download?
