Valcyte. Can it cause a sore throat?

I started on 225 mgs Valcyte for a week and today is my 3rd day of 450 mgs. About 2 days ago I noticed my throat was sore, but I chalked it up to drip from my sinus infection.

Previously when I got a sore throat it was a viral reactivation and I felt like I had mono. Upping my Famvir knocked it out almost immediately. But this is just my throat that feels raw just sitting here.

Could this be the Valcyte? If so do I stop or push through it?

Edit. Found some older threads on prohealth and I guess this happens and eventually gets better.

Valcyte's never caused me to have a sore throat, but a symptom of my CFS is a sore throat and raspy voice.
