Ive been seeing dr enlander for about 6 months now and nothing is working for me so far. I profusely begged him to start me on Valcyte asap for HHV-6 because of how severe my psychological symptoms were and he finally agreed. however between his Hepappressin, LDN, Valcyte and other immunomodulators i continue getting worse.

Im wondering if i should be investigating treatments for Parvo B19 and the M Pneumoniae? they came back pretty high and I really want to be aggressive with my treatments, which is why i got on the valcyte so soon. Im wondering what treamtnets are out there for these two viruses and are they effective? If so, how do i go about getting on them? I dont feel that Dr Enlander is going to put me on anything for them.

NOTE: im not trying to wrag Dr Enlander, he's a very compassionate guy and knowlegable doctor. However, it just seems that he has a very set protocol with everyone and im looking for something more personalized and aggressive.

I was told there was nothing established for Parvo B19 except IVIG and the side effects are often rough for PWME. Since I also had Coxsackie, we decided to try Equilibrant for 3 months and then test both Parvo B19 and Coxsackie. Happily, and somewhat surprisingly, both cleared up (according to PCR) in that time with only 1 Equilibrant daily.

My Parvo B19 was relatively mild, though, so my experience may not apply to others.

If i remember cprrectly u got the Equilibrant on your own, right? Is it a risky thing to try?

My ME/CFS specialist recommended it. It is an OTC product, not a prescription one, so you buy it on your own.

It is not any more risky than other supplements. I have heard of people having noticeable (not bad or dangerous) side effects at the full dose (6 tablets). I had no side effects at only one tablet.

The biggest downside I see is that it's pricey, like other immune modulators. At one tablet daily, it's not bad, but at six a day the $$$ add up.

Eta: If it's any encouragement, I got worse the first 6 months, too, but I started getting a lot better (not cured) shortly after the 6 month mark. That's not unusual, apparently. It takes time to beat back all the infections and for our bodies to start to recover.
