Impaired nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide synthesis / Tryptophan to quinolinate pathway. Viruses can affect the NAD Synthesis in the Kynurenine pathway.

This is the reason why we need to supplement with NADH becasue of the weak NAD synthesis cause by MAO defect or viruses affecting Kynurenine pathway. The MAO gene defect is very common in CFS/ME community.

Yeah...I don't know if it's the brand or if you have to take it away from food on a full-moon standing on your head...But, I've found something that works everytime i take it...Try, ( Source naturals coenzymated B-3, NAD) This is less expensive and seem to work, When you have all your methylation ducks in order (MTHFR,MTR/MTRR,CBS). Also, B-2 will help drive the MAO-A gene faster and manganese is the supportive mineral. Do not take (B-6 p5p) if you have a CBS problem.

I am just struck with how difficult it is for us to deal with this damned disease, to have to do this scientific approach to have a better life. Sure wish the "research" will find the causal agent, so we can then deal with it directly...at least have a chance to live without needing to practically be a _genetic research specialist_

We are the canary in the coal mine my friend , everything happens for a reason. Take a moment and think about the sick kids suffering from autism at 3 years old with this same genetic disease. We are the ones the (Genetic research specialist) who will find the cure, the genetic bypass that will save our kids from suffering...We are so close to beating these genetic demons and I am up for the challenge.
