I signed up for this sometime ago, and today is the first day. It's not too late to sign up.

Each mediation is about 17 minutes long and done by Deepak Chopra.

Today's is called 'The Journey to Perfect Health' http://www.chopracentermeditation.com/bestsellers/ProgramPage.aspx?bookid=178&id=7741

You'll need to sign up to to continue, but I'll post the first meditation for people. I find meditation to be a powerful tool. Hope you enjoy this too!

Best,
Questus

Golden,

Am not sure if this will work but am posting the link to last Sat.'s meditation in the hopes that you can access it. If so perhaps others will join in and share the other days meditations for people who can't access it.

I enjoy these so much also. Think there's a powerful mind body connection for all of us, and though it might not 'heal' us today, perhaps by practicing meditation and mindfulness daily we can each become stronger and centered and more capable of coping with this illness.

I'm been meditating for decades, since I first got sick with CFS in the mid 80's and it's been very helpful in falling asleep at night, going back to sleep in the middle of the night, and during stressful times.

Part of the process is knowing that I can always improve my technique and I need to try to continue to improve not just with meditation but with breathing in concert with the mediatation.

D Chopra also has a website where you can sign up for his newsletter. He often shares meditations via his newsletter in podcasts. and his newsletters are worth receiving.

He also sells tons of meditation 'work outs' and while I've not ordered any yet, I would be inclined to order from him. I like the sound of his voice, and it 'works' for me.

Hope the link I posted helps others access this, and if it does, hope others will share links to those having difficulty receiving the links directly.

Best,
Questus

I've been doing this too!
So far I actually like the Day 1 Meditation the most. Something about it: I can absolutely "get" the sense of myself as "a field of all possibilities" way outside of the CFIDS limitations...

I like Deepak Chopra too :)
I have not been able to join in though as I can not access the link. It maybe a technical error here.

I was really disappointed as I got excited when I saw it.... Never mind .... its nice to know its happening and I can come back and do it at a later date....

ah thank you.

I have tried again but its not working. Its the same reason I can't do the daily vote on the other thread to win 20,000 dollars.

I will try on a friends computer.

In the meantime the thread has inspired me to dig out Reinventing The Body, Resurrection The Soul and I will have a little read of that :)

I'm looking for the Sanskrit mantra to Day 4 - has anyone been writing those down?
I didn't realize there was a time limit on the earlier days, and missed Day 4... ...
Thanks!
