(I don't want to post that link because some have voted in the wrong place because of it) you will see the 4 pictures, and can scroll through to see the vote numbers.

Helen - do you think there is a way to alert people who possibly voted in the wrong place and ask them to double-check their vote and/or vote in the right place? This contest is really hotting up.

We are ahead slightly but there are still days left in the contest - so we still need to keep on finding more people to vote.

TIP:
Go to the ME/CFS Australia logo - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...8875366795.447308.112510456794&type=1&theater
and hit 'Share' but instead of sharing the logo to your profile (Timeline) where it may not get noticed by your friends, share it in a private message to a friend (ie. send them the link) to ask them to vote in a more personal manner.

To do this, hit 'Share' under the logo and then drop down the box where it says "On your own Timeline" and select "In a private Message". Then enter your friend's name(s). You can then write a personal message to your friend(s) while asking them to vote. Just tell them to click on the logo at the bottom of the message and then click 'LIKE' to vote. Some people may well respond by voting!

We are still ahead but anything can happen so finding more voters to click 'Like' on the logo is crucial.

TIP:
If you are a frequent Tweeter and have lots of Twitter followers, use or adapt the Twitter messages below to motivate people to vote (note - please ensure you include the link to the ME/CFS logo where people need to click 'Like' - Twitter will shorten the link as appropriate)

This is a real nail biter - and still more than 24 hours to go!

TIP:
Create a Facebook Event and invite your Facebook friends to it. You can choose specific friends to invite, you don't have to invite all your FB friends, just the ones you think would be likely to vote if they knew of this fundraising opportunity. The event can be public, accessible to friends of friends or 'invite-only' (i.e. private).

You can call the event something like "Help ME/CFS Australia with One Mouse Quick Click". And then link to the ME/CFS Australia logo (the voting link) and describe briefly what they need to do. An advantage of creating a Facebook event is that when you invite people to it, they will receive a notification saying you invited them to your event so they would become aware of the contest, even if they don't accept the invitation.

we are exactly 100 ahead right now, but it is midday in Australia, so they might be ramping up for the evening vote. We sure aren't safe here. Every single vote counts

Please, if you have a FaceBook account go to the site and "like" them. It doesn't take much time or effort.

-----> 12 HOURS LEFT TO VOTE <-----

The last hours in contests like these are usually critical - please continue sharing the voting link on your Facebook walls, ask your friends to take part, if you administrate a Facebook page, please post about the contest and please post in Facebook groups and on Twitter.

There will be only one winner.

Thank you to everyone who already voted :)

Here is a link to the countdown - http://www.timeanddate.com/countdow...year=2012&month=12&day=31&hour=12&min=0&sec=0

Looks like a win for ME/CFS Australia. Thanks, everyone.

And besides the money (what I've heard is "thousands of dollars") and the mention of the organization at all Tupperware parties for six months, the leader of ME/CFS Australia became aware of our efforts to vote for her charity via the Facebook ME (ME/CFS) Fundraising Group, joined the group, and plans to participate in contests in the future to help raise money for other ME/CFS organizations.
