Arrythmia and Hypothyroidism

Suffering from malnutrition due to severe
allergies and inability to metabolize most compounds
in foods.

Hypothyroid, unable to take meds for this
(heart failure and othe)

Able to munch on leaves of dulse which contains
iodine and other minerals.

Question is: what nutrient deficiency could cause
various types of arrythmia such afib, SVT etc...

Or could it be the hypothyroidism?

If the latter, what could help since unable to take meds
for this??

That is a hard one to answer for us non-professionals. There are a lot of causes of arrythmias. I have had several episodes simply in reaction to some "innocent" supplement I had taken.

For me, I can get out of an arrythmia (afib) by taking potassium, magnesium and electolytes, but that is probably not a general rule.

Do you have a good doctor to help you with this?

Best wishes,

First, stay away from caffeine, chocolate, sodas, aspartame, and any other stimulants like decongestants. Do NOT drink decaf, it still contains two percent caffeine and can and will cause your heart stuff. Even recently, I had a friend who insisted on drinking green tea, even the decaf. She kept getting the heart stuff from it. You cannot have it when you get that kind of heart thing. Drink WATER or plain juice.

Hypothyroid can also cause it if your thyroid levels are off. Lyme disease can cause it. POTS can cause it.

Try some hops valerian herbal combos, they will help calm it down.

I had that same problem while at one of my worst points a couple of years ago. I had started hydrocortisone and switched thyroid meds from T3 only to T3 T4 combination. My body resisted the thyroid meds and I started having irregular heart stuff and rapid heart rate. My body seemed totally out of whack. I started by changing my diet as you are doing, then later I benefited from taking apple cider vinegar before each meal (has to be the raw organic stuff). That seemed to help a lot. I started the methylation program with high B12 doses and was able to go way down on the thyroid meds (although it wasn't easy going down on them). Through all of these corrections my heart eventually normalized. I think it was a combination of stuff that was causing the problems, although I did react to certain foods. Try the apple cider vinegar. Are you taking B12?

Sushi; thanks for the reply. My GP says my electrolytes are "normal" serum
blood test shows normal "potassium" yet, when I ate foods high in potassium
before the worsening of allergies, arrythmias calmed down, much more so
when I took a liquid trace minerals. It was amazing, except that I reacted to
the prod. Trigger is unknown.

I read that L-Carnitine can also help. I tried it, effective for a while.
Also tried Omega 3 from V-pure (can't have fish sourced), and helped too.

This shows lack of nutrients in my case. There is no doubt that they hypo
also sets off tachy, but this is rare for me, its different. The afib I am sure
is lack of nutrients, regardless of blood tests. Those tests are not accurate.
I heard similar from others.

I will try electrolytes soon (home made).
