OK some more info.

The practioner using gcmaf at the clinic in Auckland has been in touch with me and he reports good results so far with CFS patients in NZ. The nagalase test is actually done in the Netherlands, just taken care of from their clinic.

If anyone wants more info PM me.

Anne.

Interesting Anne,

GcMAF is slowly catching on. Too bad that shipping makes the nagalase test so expensive. In the US, a branch of the same lab only charges $67 (if I remember correctly) but the blood doesn't have to be frozen and gets there in a few hours with FedEx.

Are you going to try this?

Hi Sushi,

Yes the cost of that test from here is :eek::eek:

I'm going to see Ros Vallings (ME specialist) early next year and I'll ask her opinion on the St Benedicts protocol. I'm not sure what their protocol is yet and whether it includes immune modulation.

My first preference would be to give probiotic maf a trial. I think .

While I have your ear :D can you refresh me on what other markers should I ideally have measured before starting any maf treatment? I'm guessing they can mostly be done at the US lab too?

Thanks Sushi!

Anne.

Anne, let's try to catch each other on chat as we can do "back and forth" more easily. I will be on London time for the next few months.

Just updating because caremom posted that three more doctors are using gcmaf in NZ
Wonder if any New Zealanders have been to see Drs Bill Reeder, John Gardner and Ted Walford? These doctors
offer GcMaf for self injections. Any input on the effectiveness of the chemical GcMaf from any of these doctors would
be helpful.

Here are some contact details for these doctors:

Dr Bill Reeder
Ph:(07)856-8568,
The Narrows Clinic, 458 Airport Rd, Hamilton.
http://www.medcom.co.nz

Dr John Gardner, Ph:(09)528-4584,
Selwyn Medical Centre, 307 Kepa Road, Mission Bay, Auckland.

Dr Ted Walford, Ph:(07)576-3599,
545b Otumoetai Road, Tauranga.

Anne.

Updating again to let people know that the gcmaf.eu product available in New Zealand is the same price as purchasing direct from Europe. That's 660 euros for 800ng in a 2.2ml vial.
At a full dose that's 8 weeks supply, but many people find they do better on a half or even a quarter of that dose.
Best,
Anne.
