Weirdly, now that I've tried to pay three times online and then spent ten minutes wading through a nightmare telephone tree (great fun with auditory processing disorder) to get the payment through, I've stopped sulking. Probably because by the end of it, I was seriously worried that my Visa card had been stopped or something, and it was a relief just to get it finished.
I remember that I looked up quite a few supps and kept on comparing them in different ways, and then placed the order fairly quickly because my support worker was here, and I wanted to get it done before I forgot without wasting too much of her time. I must have done the currency calculations early on but forgotten to check them right at the end. That'll teach me.
Anyway, it's a tenner that I really could have done with, and this has come to a lot of money for two supplements which may not even work out for me, but hey, it happens. I think people reading this might now understand why so many of us in the UK are unable to afford the enormous supplement regimes that are often recommended on this board, and don't react well to "oh no, you shouldn't take that type of B12/magnesium/whatever which you've just bought in bulk, you should take another type which is recommended on page 56 of a long and complex thread"! I'm starting to think that we should start a swap shop for people who buy an entire bottle of something and then discover early on that they can't tolerate it.
On the other hand, it's approximately the amount of money I've saved by getting a free box of Echiomega from Igennus due to filling out their online questionnaire. The offer runs for all of their supplements, including the popular Vegepa, and you should be able to find the survey
here.
